Product Description
Yerba Prima developed Psyllium Husks formulations to provide the highest cleansing activity of all fibers. Psyllium Husks formulations help to promote regularity, lower cholesterol and are 4-8 times stronger than oat bran.*is a concentrated source of natural dietary fiber. A daily fiber intake of at least 25 grams is recommended for good health, but on average people consume only 10 to 15 grams. Psyllium Whole Husks are an economically priced fiber, with good bulking action. The bulking action of Psyllium Whole Husks is equal to about 80% of the bulking action of Yerba Prima?s Psyllium Husks Powder. Psyllium Whole Husks are preferred by some users because they gel-up more slowly than Psyllium Husks Powder.

Ingredients
Nutrition information per 5 gram serving (1 level teaspoon): Fiber: 4 grams (approx. 3.2 grams soluble and 0.8 grams insoluble) Calories: 2 calories Potassium: 45 mg Calcium: 10 mg Sodium: Sodium free (<5 mg) Psyllium seed husks.

Directions
Adults and Children 12: 1 heaping teaspoon, one to three times a day. Children 6-12: 1 level teaspoon, one to three times a day. See Directions. Directions: Start by taking 1 serving each day. Gradually increase to 3 servings per day as needed. Stir powder briskly into at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of juice, water or other fluid. Drink immediately. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts.
