From the Manufacturer For Control of Body Odors. Incontinent odor due to bowel control, colostomy and ileostomy. Nullo is an internal deodorant used to control odor due to incontinence, colostomies and ileostomies. Adults swallow one to three Nullo tablets three times a day until odor is eliminated. Once proper dosage has been determined, a maintenance schedule is followed to ensure continued odor-free results. The user has the ability to control dosage according to individual requirements. Use only as directed. How It Works The active ingredient in Nullo is chlorophyllin copper complex. Nullo delivers the purest form of Chlorophyllin copper complex available. This ingredient causes a change in metabolism of odor-producing bacteria. This effects a neutralization (complexing or absorption) of the odorous gas in bacterial cultures. Thus, the odors of bodily wastes are dramatically reduced or eliminated. Because odors will return after Chlorophyllin copper complex is out of the system, a change in bacterial metabolism is evident. This action-confirmed effect is neither toxic nor antibiotic. FDA Approved. Nullo has been proven safe and effective by the FDA, and has been used in the medical field for over 40 years. In 1972, the primary ingredient in Nullo was among over-the-counter (OTC) items included in a comprehensive evaluation program conducted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The purpose of the study was to assure the public that OTC drugs are safe, effective, and accurately labeled for their intended purposes. In May of 1990, the FDA issued a final regulation recognizing the safety and efficacy of Chlorophyllin copper complex taken orally for the reduction of odor relating to incontinence. The ingredients have shown no toxicity when taken with other prescription medication. The FDA specifically exempts OTC oral deodorant products from a toxicity or drug interaction warning on the label. Purity Only Nullo can deliver the purest dosage of Chlorophyllin copper complex to the user. Nullo's process of obtaining the purest form of chlorophyll with fewer contaminants than the competition distinguishes Nullo as the best product available. Side Effects Use only as directed: When taking excessive doses of Nullo, some users have experienced mild diarrhea and abdominal cramping. If this should occur, reduce the dosage. If symptoms persist, consult your physician. With effective doses of Nullo the consumer may experience a green coloration of the stool. Safety Information Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. If cramps or diarrhea occur, reduce the dosage. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. If foil under cap is broken or missing, do not use.
