Aroma:The oil of Copaiba balsam has a very warm, soft, honey-like note. Aromatherapy Properties:Soothing, balancing, uplifting. History:Used for centuries as a fixative and fragrance component, for example in soaps. Detergents, perfumes, cosmetics. Perfumery Note:Base. Blends well with: Spices, floral and oriental bases, the aphrodisiac oils Rose, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Frankincense. Blend with Ylang Ylang, Vanilla or Jasmine to support its soft qualities. Great fixative, that binds other more volatile aromas and makes them last longer.
Safety Information Relatively non-toxic, non-irritant, however, sensitization possible. Large doses may cause nausea. Keep away from children. Dilute for use on skin. If you are pregnant or have medical problems, consult a doctor. Only use the gentlest oils at low doses with children. Skin patch test recommended. For external use only. Product Description This pure Copaiba Balsam Essential Oil (also known by its botanical name Copaifera reticulata) was carefully steam distilled from the crude balsam of wild growing trees in Brazil. Uses: Aroma blending and natural beauty & wellness products. Founded in 1986 AromaLand is known for its commitment to high, reliable quality, therapeutic grade Essential Oils and natural purity. Member of NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) and ISPA (International Spa Association). Directions How to use it: Add to a diffuser for a long-lasting, warm aroma climate. The balsams are most commonly used in the background of an Aromatherapy blend, as in our Bamboo Forest line of products.
