Aromatherapy Grade Essential Oil
Safety Information Do not use essential oils if you are pregnant without checking with your Doctor First Product Description Found in the Spice Islands, Clove is highly antiseptic and was, years ago, credited with the relative absence of disease among island dwellers. Pomanders made from cloves were often used to guard against plague. It was also utilized as a treatment for headache and migraine. Clove is a useful antiphrastic as well as a mild anesthetic, which is used in many households to alleviate minor toothache pain. It is said to stimulate digestion and appetite and has been touted as a reliever of flatulence. One of the principal components of clove, eugenol, has been a staple in the mouthwash industry and confirms the wisdom of courtiers in ancient China, who would sweeten their breath with clove prior to appearing before the emperor! This sweet, vanilla-scented, bud has many culinary uses and is a common ingredient in traditional spice mixes such as; garam masalas and Chinese five spice. Stuck into an orange, cloves make a useful pomander for the closet, which will help to repel moths and fragrance clothing. The essential oil is often used in perfumes and soaps where it imparts a pleasantly sweet but spicy scent. Indications Keep out of the reach of children Ingredients Syzgium Aromaticum Directions dilute oils properly before use Legal Disclaimer For external use only
