Indications As a laxative: For the relief of occasional constipation (irregularity). Generally produces bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours. As an antacid: For the relief of acid indigestion, sour stomach, heartburn; upset stomach due to these symptoms. Ingredients Magnesium Hydroxide (400 mg), Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium, Flavors, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Purified Water, Saccharin Sodium, Simethicone, Sorbitol Directions Shake well before using. For Laxative Use: Take each dose with a full glass (8 oz) of water. - Adults/Children-12 years and older: 2-4 tablespoonfuls (TBSP) at bedtime or upon arising.
- Children 6-11 years: 1-2 tablespoonfuls (TBSP).
- Children 2-5 years: 1-3 teaspoonfuls
For Antacid Use: - Adults/Children 12 years and older: 1-3 teaspoonfuls up to 4 times daily.
- Do not take more than 12 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks.
Store at controlled room temperature 20-25°C (68-77°F). Keep tightly closed and avoid freezing.
