May be used on children and adults alike on healed wounds incurred from household accidents, burns and injuries. Mederma has also been shown to be helpful in preventing and/or resolving stretch marks, especially new, reddened, raised stretch marks. I recommend it to my patients after I have removed a growth or treated a skin cancer. Mederma is also useful for resolving the aftermath of recently resolved inflammed acne lesions as well. Should be applied 3-4 times a day for a minimum of 8 weeks for routine new scars. Comes with a chart to determine the length of time it should be used for various skin defects. This is the 50g size.
