Product Description Mother Nature's Multi-Dophilus is a unique formula designed as support to supply friendly bacteria like Lactobacillis acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum for the intestinal tract. Friendly bacteria constantly fight bad bacteria to maintain the health of the intestinal tract. Bad bacteria, if not killed right away, can cause the following symptoms: diarrhea, fever, constipation, gas, indigestion, fatigue, allergies and many other more serious diseases. Multi-Dophilus helps supply a combination of friendly bacteria and fructooligosaccharides (FOS) to keep the intestinal tract in balance to maintain good health. Friendly bacteria are very sensitive to certain chemicals and stressors. They are easily destroyed by the following: antibiotics, radiation therapy, drastic changes in altitude (air travel), dramatic changes in diet, fasting, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, certain medications, chemicals, alcohol, low fiber diet, birth control pills, stress, infections and diets high in processed foods. It is during these stages of imbalance that friendly bacteria should be supplemented to the diet.
