Product Description DAILY FIBER is like no other fiber supplement. It consists of a unique combination of vegetable fibers, cereal grasses, alfalfa, aloe vera, wheat grass and psyllium. These ingredients provide an excellent source of natural fiber and contain chlorophyll which aids the "friendly" acidophilus bacteria in the intestinal tract. You Get The Benefits Of: Alfalfa: has been used by the Chinese since the sixth century for health purposes. It is a perennial herb that grows throughout the world in a variety of climates. The leaves of the alfalfa plant are rich in minerals and nutrients, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, and carotene (useful against both heart disease and cancer). Wheat Grass: is a special strain of wheat that produces high concentrations of chlorophyll, active enzymes, vitamins and other nutrients. Chlorophyll which makes up over 70% of the solid content of wheatgrass is the basis of all plant life. Chlorophyll is often referred to as "the blood of plant life," and it closely resembles the molecules of human red blood cells. Psyllium: is a member of the plant family Plantaginaceae. There are several species of psyllium, but the seed husks from Plantago ovata, also known as blonde psyllium, (found in DAILY FIBER) have the best quality and highest fiber content. Psyllium is an excellent fiber because it acts like a sponge helping to clean the intestines. The American Cancer Society recommends the use of psyllium because of its many health benefits. Directions Suggested Usage: 3 tablets daily, 1 tablet at each meal with a full glass of water.
