Aroma:Spicy, warm, herbaceous. Powerful and penetrating, medicinal, green. Aromatherapy Properties:Gives courage, uplifting, reviving. More fragrant, less irritant, softer than many of the other Thyme chemotypes. History:There are many different chemotypes of Thymus vulgaris. Influenced by its surroundings, this plant will produce very different oils depending on climate, soil condition and altitude. Perfumery Note:Top. Blends well with: Bergamot, Lemon, Lavender, Rosemary, Melissa, Lavandin, Marjoram, Pine, spices etc.
Safety Information Non-toxic, non-irritant in very small doses. Avoid if you are pregnant or have high blood pressure. Also not appropriate for children. Approved by the FDA as food flavor. Keep away from children. Dilute for use on skin. If you are pregnant or have medical problems, consult a doctor. Only use the gentlest oils at low doses with children. Skin patch test recommended.
