Safety Information A very small percentage of individuals, particularly health care providers who have been occupationally exposed to psyllium dust, may develop a sensitivity to psyllium. This sensitivity may result in an allergic reaction. If you experience a strong reaction, with difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Keep out of the reach of children. Product Description Yerba Prima?s Soluble Fiber formulations contain all three types of soluble fiber. Soluble fiber helps to lower high cholesterol levels. Soluble fiber is also a food source for beneficial bacteria. This increases the population of good bacteria in the colon, which helps keep harmful bacteria and yeasts under control. Ingredients Psyllium, Dietary Fiber (7 calories).5gm, Potassium.43mg, Calcium.8mg Nutrition information per 7 gram serving (1 heaping teaspoon): Fiber: 5 grams (approx. 4.2 grams soluble and 0.8 grams insoluble) Calories: 7 calories Potassium: 43 mg Calcium: 8 mg Sodium: Sodium free (<5 mg) Psyllium seed husks, acacia gum, oat bran, apple fiber, fruit pectin. Directions Adults and Children over 12: 1 heaping teaspoon, one to three times a day. Children 6-12: 1 level teaspoon, one to three times a day. See Directions. Directions: Start by taking 1 serving each day. Gradually increase to 3 servings per day as needed. Stir powder briskly into at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of juice, water or other fluid. Drink immediately. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts.
